| Villa Cittadini (Palermo, Italy) | |||||||
| Description | The project’s idea is to recover and restore the villa, which had been abandoned for a long time, with the simultaneous creation of a garden and the redefinition of external paths. Great importance in this context is given to the garden’s layout, with emphasis on the dialogue between architecture and nature; one of the key elements is the stairs connecting the upper level and the living room downstairs: a metal frame supported by a set of thin crossed steel pillars, in order to enhance the lightness of the structure. |
