Project for the construction of an auditorium inside the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei - Villa Farnesina (Rome, Italy)
	Description	The project envisages the construction of a modern auditorium with about 265 seats inside the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, through the restoration of one of the buildings within the Villa Farnesina complex in Rome. The design of the auditorium includes flexible elements, such as a mobile stage with adjustable ceiling that can host conferences, chamber music concerts, dance performance, and provides rooms for research and leisure. Particular attention is paid to acoustics, through the design of a ceiling with a sequence of concave and convex shapes that improve the acoustic performance, and through the use of sound-absorbing materials that transform the room auditorium’s hall in a miniaturized “sound box”.
